I grew up watching my mom make people feel beautiful.

As a cosmetologist, she created more than a place to get your hair done. Her salon was where people came to reconnect, feel cared for, and leave looking—and feeling—like the best version of themselves.

I didn’t realize it then, but she was teaching me something I would carry throughout my life:

How you feel about yourself changes how you show up in the world.

My career took a different path. For more than 17 years, I worked in business, leadership, and mentorship, helping people navigate interviews, career transitions, and some of their biggest professional moments. That experience reinforced something I’ve always believed:

The Polished Collective KC brings those two worlds together—my love of helping people feel confident and the beauty experience that first inspired me.
